Superman battles the H.I.V.E. organization. Lois decides to infiltrate them. Superman consults with the New Teen Titans for information. Superman and Lois stop a small group, but not the inner leadership of the H.I.V.E. who actually knew what Lois was up to, and plan to kill her.

The Atom defuses an atomic bomb, but the bombers recognize Ray Palmer and blackmail him into letting them go. Atom tracks them and learns more about their leader, and then stops the thugs from using the bomb. But in the fight, both thugs mysteriously die. Is the Atom to blame?
