Several similar series that have no listed publisher are also traditionally attributed to Young's, including 'Char Chapman' and 'Graphic Thrillers'/'I Hate Crime!'/'Larry Kent'. These series were also distributed in the UK by L. Miller & Son, sometimes with 6d pricing overprinting the Australian 8d price. An indica with the same printer and UK distributor was used on the back cover of some issue of Young's 'Yarmak Jungle King Comic' in 1951, but also issues of Jet Fury (Pyramid) and Intimate Confessions (Barmor).
The reported publisher for this series is probably based on John Ryan's 'Panel-by-Panel' which states that 'Curtis had drawn a series of Edgar Wallace Comics and Larry Kent (I Hate Crime) comics for Young’s Merchandising' (Chapter 12, https://www.comicoz.com/part-two.html). 'Bonzer: Australian comics 1900-1990s' (1998: Redhill South, Victoria: Elgua Media, edited Annette Shiell) also lists the publisher as Young's Merchandising Company.
There is the possibility of another publisher given links between Young's Merchandising and the publisher-distributors, Ayers & James and Magazine Management, including the similar style and format of the comics.
