The Fawcett name and branding dominated on the comcs, with styling and trade dress similar to the US originals. The company became Larry Cleland Pty. Ltd around 1949/50, although Stanley Larry Cleland (Larry S. Cleland) had been associated with the company since its foundation. When Cleland's US partner exited the comics field in 1953, it continued with comics from Australian and other US sources (especially Charlton and newspaper strips). Cleland's last comics were published in 1956/57, although it continued other publishing into the 1960s, predominantly non-fiction do-it-yourself manuals and magazines (men's soft porn and car publications). The association with Fawcett continued through pulp fiction reprints (such as the True Confessions Library).   Does this data need corrections? Become an editor.
