A man walks out of a bar and sees a beautiful redhead sitting in a convertible waiting for someone. He walks over and starts to talk to her. She tells him that she is waiting for an older wealthy man and asks him to leave but he refuses and gets in the car. She says 'Very well' and careens off. He becomes frightened and tells her to slow down and she does not. When he glances over at her, he screams, for he sees a skeleton that tells him he has stolen a blind date with Death as the car heads straight for the side of a mountain.

When he sees a rocket ship with a sign outside that reads "Be the First to see Mars" he thinks it's a promotion for the picture and enters, hoping to get to see the movie for free. Suddenly, the rocket blasts off and he passes out from the acceleration. When he revives, he finds himself a captive in a Martian zoo.
