Byron Lord, the writer of the Hodlum Hit comic book, receives a phone call from a woman that tells him the true story about the fall of Carmine Carbone. Carmine was betrayed twice, first by Johnny Apollo, who made a deal with Spats Katz to share Carmine's territory and who trapped Franky and Carmine in the abandoned mines beneath Indigo City. And second by Lips Lafayette, who sold him out to the police so he could be safe in jail.
