Synopsis: Tony and John stake out a suspected distribution point for illegal chicken meat. When Tony and John sample the illegal meals, Tony learns that one of the cooks is a serial killer. The killer throws a cleaver at John's face and then cuts his own throat rather than allow Tony to arrest him. Due to the odd circumstances in which Tony comes up with the evidence, the police department wants to fire him, but Mason Savoy announces that Tony has been recruited and hired by the F.D.A.

Synopsis: Director Applebee assigns Tony to fire Amelia Mintz. At the newspaper, a radical group tries to take over the paper to have their manifesto published. Tony stands up to the radicals, but Amelia saves the day by reciting her criticism from the morning paper -- causing the radicals to become violently ill. Tony is head-over-heels in love with Amelia, but she seems to have disappeared.

Synopsis: Tony and Mason investigate the death of a U.S. senator. The senator died with undigested chicken in his stomach. The senator was also the head of the committee over NASA funding. Following this lead, Tony and Mason take a trip to a telescope in the Arctic Circle, but when they get there, a Russian-speaking saboteur attacks and blows up installation. Tony and Mason just barely escape with their lives.

Synopsis: Tony and Mason track down a group of chicken smugglers. Mason saves Tony from getting shot, but takes a bullet in his arm. Tony ends up with blood from the perpetrator and Mason all over him -- giving him his usual impressions. Overnight, Tony realizes that Mason killed Evan Pepper. When Tony confronts Mason, Mason defends himself by tearing off Tony's ear -- with his teeth. Mason escapes.

Synopsis: John accepts bionic reconstruction of his face in exchange for working as an F.D.A. agent. Mike Applebee takes particular glee in pairing Tony and John as partners. Applebee sends the agents to investigate a bank robbery where the perpetrator left a pile of fecal material. The agents make a side trip to visit D-Bear -- just for old-time's sake. John processes a boatload of data, deduces the perpetrator, and the boys make the collar. But at the crime scene, Tony tastes the chicken gumbo and finds something unexpected.

Synopsis: John gets called to the Arctic to investigate a frozen body. While Tony waits for Lin, she receives an unwelcomed visitor and makes an abrupt exit from the hotel.

Synopsis: The Yamapalu authorities jail Tony under suspicion that he killed Lin Sae Woo. After biting one of his cell mates, Tony shows Chief Kulolo the location of the body the inmate buried. After finding and tasting the dead body, Tony identifies the location of a rooster fighting ring on the north side of Yamapalu. Tony and the Chief raid the gangster's lair and recover Poyo, the fighting chicken. As a "favor" to Tony, the Chief lets him into the morgue so he can "investigate" the remains of Lin Sae Woo. Tony has his first taste of Gallsaberry.

Synopsis: When Amelia tries to flee, the Governor has her taken to a military compound. Applebee wants Tony -- for several quite gross investigations. As Tony investigates the bodies in the Yamapalu morgue, he gets distinct impressions of a vampire. Tony infiltrates the Governor's compound. Tony finds his brother Chow, and rescues Chow against his will. He also rescues Amelia. Meanwhile, John manages to assuage Chief Applebee.

Making sure Amelia and Chow are safe, Tony returns to the compound looking for Fantanyeros and the Vampire. Tony corners the Vampiro, but Governor interferes and the Vampire escapes.
