1948: A Russian submarine carrying special cargo is lost under the Norwegian Sea. 1984: BPRD agents on a salvage ship arrive at the wreckage. Abe Sapien explains that it's thought to contain a helmet known as Melchiorre's Burgonet -- dating to the reign of Pope Clement VII and taken by the Soviets from the Nazis' store of occult relics after World War II.
