First line of text reads: "Fantomah, the most remarkable woman ever known, has such strange powers and insight, that she foresees all that is to happen in connection with jungle life..."

The cover illustration and title of the 2009 Fantagraphics book "You Shall Die By Your Own Evil Creation!" come from the last page of this story.

The authors of the reprint, who own the original art for this story, surmise from close examination of Fantomah's face on the splash page that "the editor probably had the face of Fantomah whited out and prettified from Fletcher Hanks' original rendering".
