Sub-Mariner [Namor]; Namora; “Father Time” (lighthouse keeper, introduction, death); “Pirate” Fletcher (villain, introduction); Arnold Rankin (villain, stamp dealer, introduction)
“Pirate” Fletcher, a waterfront cafe owner who dresses like a pirate, offers to buy the stamp collection of “Father Time” the lighthouse keeper, but when the old man refuses to sell, Fletcher shoots him and steals the stamps. As he lay dying, “Father Time” uses the stem of his pipe to etch a skull and crossbones on the floor. When Namor and Namora pay the lighthouse keeper a visit, they find his dead body and the clue, and immediately suspect “Pirate” Fletcher. A quick visit to Fletcher's cafe confirms their suspicion as they catch “Pirate” selling the stamps to a shady stamp dealer.
