Booster heads to the past, soon after the New Teen Titans formed, to prevent Ravager and Deathstroke from killing Dick Grayson, while Rip Hunter heads to Vanishing Point to get information about Black Beetle. Back in the past, Booster and the Titans face not only Ravager and Deathstroke, but Black Beetle, and Booster seemingly fails in his mission at the cost of his own life.

It is unclear who is wearing some of the costumes in the timeline created by the death of Dick Grayson. The Blue Beetle may in fact be the Red Beetle.

Blue Beetle tricks the Unimate robots into fighting each other until they are all out of commission. Later, Paco follows up on the lead on Maria Boole, the daughter of Unimate's creator, and finds Alan Von Neumann being held captive by her. Realizing that Paco is missing, Brenda and Jaime head after him and find that Maria may be more than they expected.
