Namora wins a swimming contest but the criminal known as “Spectacles" steals her silver trophy. While trying to get it back, Namora and Namor learn that the famous silversmith Enrico Laredo is missing. A clue in the Daily Bugle leads them to Rolland Galleries where they find Spectacles selling some rare coins to a shady collector. Spectacles escapes but the coins he leaves behind turn out to be exceptional counterfeits — except that each one contains Spectacles' address, where Namor and Namora apprehend the criminals and free Laredo.
