A schemer from Princess Valla's city comes to Kaänga's jungle and takes the princess's bracelet from Kaänga. Kaänga, Ann, and N'geeso pursue the thief back to the city, where Ann is taken captive. The schemer, Kasna, demands that Valla follow the law and wed the holder of the bracelet; if she refuses, he will kill Ann. Kaänga and N'geeso arrive in time to stop the ceremony; Kasna is killed; and Valla elects to keep her bracelet herself.

Simba journeys to a new land where he is challenged by that country's lion-king, Zingara. Simba defeats Zingara but is then attacked by a tribe of apes, believing that he is Zingara, whom they hate. Zingara comes to Simba's rescue and the two declare their friendship.
