Synopsis: Brian Kinney arrives in Astro City and finds a job at Bruiser's, a bar "costumes" frequent. The owner, seeing something more in Brian, helps him get a job at a classier place, Butler's. When Glue-Gun crashes through the skylight there and tries to make Brian a hostage, Brian knocks him out, drawing the ire of his fellow busboys, but also the attention of the Confessor.

This storyline picks up plot threads from Kurt Busiek's Astro City (Image, 1995 series) #5.
