Comet [Rob Conners]; Victoria Johnson; Matt Blair; Karen; Dr. Basil Bradstreet; Stevens; Private Stern; Lance Perry; Dane Brockman; Sgt. McPherson
The Comet saves lives when an explosion is set off by Matt Blair of Peace Train at Intel-Tech Nuclear Facility. The fire is put out before a secret cyborg project headed by Dr. Bradstreet is revealed. Later, after a rally by Peace Train in which Rob admires leader Matt Blair, an explosion at the nuclear plant goes off which kills a guard and causes a shut down. The Comet, after capturing Blair trying to bomb the plant's transformers, is depressed to see Intel-Tech taking credit for cleaning up a toxic dump site that it should have been blamed for creating.

Still waiting for fan letters, Mark Waid writes made-up letters to himself from other The Comet creators, making fun of his habitual tardiness on getting the script in on time. Also includes Impact Comics...This Month! Lower part of second page is a subscription ad for Impact Comics.
