Comet
Comet [Rob Conners]; Victoria Johnson; Detective Ben Lee; Applejack [Nathan East]
In his first outing as the Comet, Rob Connors apprehends kids stealing disks from St. Helens Univ. At the same time TV reporter (and Rob's girlfriend) Victoria Johnson is interviewing Det. Ben Lee about the latest coed murder by someone calling himself Applejack. The Comet tells of the freak electrical accident which gave him his powers. It occurred while investigating his parents' disappearance at a research lab in Alaska. He tells Victoria that he is determined to capture Applejack. After Vicoria's negative portrayal of Applejack on TV, the killer vows to make her one of his victims.
