Notes:
Art submitted on July 19, 1945. "Pages have nine to eleven panels each; most have ten panels." "The last two panels of this story are by an artist other than Barks*. In them Donald learns that his adventures as a firebug have been only a bad dream. In Barks' original version, Donald went to jail for accidentally burning down a courthouse." Notes and Synopsis by Michael Barrier from "Carl Barks and the Art of the Comic Book" (1982). *- Alberto Becattini identifies the artist of the last two panels as Carl Buettner (May 14, 2007).
