Where are they now? What are they doing?
Annie briefly manages to escape her unhappy life at the Hudson Street Orphanage and finds a stray dog, but she's forced to go back by the police. Her second chance comes when Grace Farrell, secretary to Oliver Warbucks, wants to take her for a week-long visit. It's a big adjustment for everyone, but when Sandy helps foil an assassination attempt on Warbucks, the grumpy billionaire softens toward the pair.

Adaptation of the 1982 film version of the 1977 Broadway musical based on characters from the long-running comic strip Little Orphan Annie, created by Harold Gray.
The characters of Punjab and the Asp, associates of Daddy Warbucks in the comics, were restored to the plot in the film version, though they do not appear in the original musical.
