The Day, a Nazi villain, has set his sights on bombing 24 of New York's biggest buildings by using his 24 henchmen named after hours of the day. Midnight fails when Torch defuses his bomb because he has deduced the Day's identity since each of the targeted buildings have clocks and only a man who repaired them would have access to them. After Torch and Toro track the evil doers to their lair, they apprehend them and turn them over to the authorities.
