A mysterious "Black Knight" appears, whose intent is to locate hidden Spanish treasure. He discovers wooden trunks but they are empty of content. However, Professor Pycroft realizes there are prehistoric bones that are of value in the same cave where the trunks are found, much to the Knight's chagrin.
