Synopsis: Clark Kent erhält für die Zeit seines Urlaubes bei GTV seinen alten Schreibtisch beim Daily Planet wieder. Gleich sein erster Auftrag hat es in sich. Jemand aus Smallville schickt dem Planet eine Zeichnung eines alternativen Superman-S-Symbols mit der Andeutung, noch mehr Informationen zu haben. Lois und Clark gehen der Sache nach und stossen auf einen Geist, der sich zunächst Polizeichef Parker als Geist eines Soldaten des Unanbängigkeitskrieges und später Lois Lane als Geist eines US-Generals zeigt. Superman wird von einem schier unbesiegbaren Krieger von Krypton bedroht - einem DWALU.
