Synopsis: Superboy wird zu einem verschlossenen Stahlbehälter gerufen, der sich nicht öffnen lässt. Er entdeckt einen alten Mann darin, der sich als Jules Verne vorstellt. Scheinbar ist seine Identität bewiesen und so zeigt er dem Mann aus der Vergangenheit, dass seine Visionen bereits Wirklichkeit geworden sind. Das Ganze entpuppt sich allerdings als Test für den stählernen Jungen, ob er nicht ein zu grosses Sicherheitsrisiko für Amerika darstellt.
