Human Torch and Sub-Mariner
Human Torch [Jim Hammond]; Toro [Thomas Raymond]; Sub-Mariner [Namor]
Torch and Toro are ordered to capture a U-boat crew alive as they seem to have too much information about Allied shipping convoys. Unknown to them, Sub-Mariner has knocked out a Nazi sailor and taken his place aboard U-boat 41. Subby jostles the torpedoman as he is aiming to take out a ship and the captain has him knocked out. At this moment, Torch and Toro attack and the captain sees a way to get back at Subby by telling Torch and Toro that Sub-Mariner is one of their best agents. Torch and Toro fall for this and take Subby captive along with the rest of the U-boat crew.
