Although Chef Pierre prepares extravagant dinners, Richie wants Pierre to prepare a simple sandwich, but Pierre doesn't understand what a sandwich is, until he checks out a reference book. Pierre successfully makes a sandwich for Richie's lunch, but his mind was on auto-pilot mode as he prepared a new "speciality": a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for a special dinner for the Riches and their guests.

Richie's father purchased a house previously owned by an old lady for 50 years, and Mr. Rich plans to convert it to a boys' club. After Richie reveals a rumor that the woman hid all of her money somewhere in the house, Reggie decides to hunt for it. Richie and Freckles search for Reggie but are frightened by strange sounds which were produced by two crooks. But Reggie ultimately but inadvertently scares the crooks out of the house by yelling into a big pipe in the basement.
