Claire Sanders; Larry; Shiela
When Claire moved to a new school, she began dating Larry and tried hard to fit in with the friends in his clique. But Shiela was jealous of the attention Larry was giving the new girl and did eveything she could to humiliate Claire and make her feel like an outsider. The final indignation came at an assembly where Shiela made Claire look the fool. When Claire ran out of the auditorium, mortified, Larry caught up with her to tell her that he knew what Shiela had done and that it didn't matter since she was the one he loved.

Donna; Eddie; Hillary; Ginny
Donna was the school's best female athlete, but she was really crazy about swing music and wanted to learn to play the trumpet so she could play in a band. When Eddie told her he'd teach her, she was beside herself. Donna thought things were going great with Eddie and then he asked her out. But, at the concert, she ran into Hillary, Eddie's steady girlfriend, who told her he was doing this to prevent her from making the band. At the tryouts, Donna blew them away, and Eddie admits that she was great. "All it takes," said Donna, "was the right man."

Eve; George; Jim Neely
Before going into the service, everyone thought George was a misfit. And after 18 months, when he returned to finish high school, he felt like a fish out of water save for Eve. Eve believed in him and knew he would succeed. But while he survived combat, school and teachers were more than he could take. Asking Eve to wait for him, he left town, only to return on Prom night to see Eve with Jim Neely. Feeling rejected again, George moved to the scary south side. When Eve finally found him she learned that not only had he been faithful to her, he had a job and worked to keep slum kids off the street. Admitting she was wrong, she ran to his arms and asked him to forgive her.

Sally; Bobby Turner; Dick Jeffries; Meg Moreley
Sally and Bobby had just decided to go steady, but at the dance Sally only wants to dance with Dick. To solve that problem, Bobby spends all his money and spare time learning to dance at Perry's dance studio. As a result, Bobby had no time for Sally who got fed up and said they were through. Bobby turned to Meg Moreley, the dance instructor, who was much older, but she didn't want to spoil what they had, or tell him she was engaged. When Bobby learned all of this, he ran to Sally's house to tell her that the reason he was doing this was to please her and dance well for her sake.
