The Black Condor [Richard Grey, Jr. as Senator Thomas Wright]; Jed Hawks (death); the Japanese (villains, some die); the Nazis (villains)
A former fifth columnist named Hawks had tried to warn Senator Wright of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, but he'd been out of commission and arrived after December 7th. However, Hawks also carried word of a second attack, this time on the Panama Canal. While that attack indeed takes place, Hawks takes to the skies and makes a suicide dive into a Japanese ship while the Condor disables a Nazi ship, forcing the Germans to surrender.
