A Count has a witch for a mother and he forces her to use her black magic to gain advantage over the peasants. As she lays dying, she gives him a last doll and tells him that it is a figure of his greatest enemy. She dies before she can instruct him what to do with it, so because it has no face, he is not sure who his greatest enemy is and invites several people he has wronged in the past to a banquet. At the banquet he lights the doll on fire, thinking one of the guests will burst into flame, but he does instead.

A man stumbles into a situation where two people accuse a girl of being a vampire and attack her. He holds them off long enough for them to bolt off behind a heavy door. The girl tells the man that they are werewolves, and he sees that this is so by looking through a slot in the door. The girl is indignant that they thought she was a vampire. The man turns in horror to hear her say "I'm just as good a werewolf as they are!"
