Archie Andrews; Jughead Jones; Reggie Mantle; Betty Cooper; Veronica Lodge; Moose Mason; Bobby Baron; un-named musicians; un-named people; Sinister Sid
Sinister Sid, a villain with an all-consuming hatred of music ("It's all-consuming, you know!"), creates a special smog that has the power to destroy music. Soon no one can sing or play or even remember what music sounds like. The Archies set off on a magic carpet ride to find this "music-napper" and end his anti-melodic reign of terror.

The Archies
Archie Andrews; Jughead Jones; Reggie Mantle; Betty Cooper; Veronica Lodge; Hiram Lodge; Pop Tate
The Archies are looking for a go-go dancer and both Betty and Veronica want the job. Veronica tries to kidnap Archie so he'll pick her, but when he refuses, she throws a jar of vanishing cream at him, and he almost vanishes, shrinking down to miniscule size. Jughead and Reggie feed Archie rubber bands so he'll "stretch" back to his normal size, and then the three guys take to annoying Mr. Lodge (including turning up in his shower at one point) before scaring the girls away from the go-go girl gig.
