Donald Duck; Huey; Dewey; Louie; various citizens of Duckburg; mayor of Duckburg
Let’s see… The recipe calls for one more dram of water… And two ounces of cement!
Cement contractor Donald is an old-fashioned craftsman, whom Huey, Dewey, and Louie feel takes far too much time to complete a job with great precision, and receives far too little in compensation for his efforts. They have him hypnotized into becoming a “dynamo, whose destiny it is to reshape Duckburg”. And so, Donald abandons his previously careful, high standards – and goes, and goes, with total reckless abandon, not caring who or what gets in his way!

Mickey Mouse; Goofy; Gyro Gearloose; King Minos of Ancient Crete; queen of Ancient Crete; various citizens and soldiers of Ancient Crete; minotaur (off-panel roar only)
That’s Gyro Gearloose’s house! He must be workin’ on one of his new inventions!
Gyro Gearloose becomes lost in space and time, while testing his “sports model space cruiser”. Mickey and Goofy attempt a rescue, using Gyro’s “family-size limousine” model. Confused by an upside-down video-screen image of Gyro, Goofy sets the controls opposite to Gyro’s soundless gesturing, sending Mickey and Goofy to Ancient Crete.

Part 1 of 4. Story is interrupted between pages 4 and 5, for four pages of “Gold Key Comics Club” material that comprise the centerfold. When taken to the labyrinth of the minotaur for the installment’s cliffhanger, Mickey and Goofy are dressed in togas, with Goofy’s toga on over what is drawn and colored to be the same “red long underwear” that comprises his costume as “Super Goof”. This is the last Mickey Mouse serial to be presented in four chapters. All remaining serials would be presented in three chapters, until their end in 1973.
