Synopsis: Hippolyta convenes an Amazon council to determine what course of action to take now that a man from the outside world has landed on Themyscira. There is a difference of opinion, but ultimately they listen to Castalia who believes the gods allowed Steve to find them and that it is a sign that the Amazons must help the outside world face a coming threat. It is decided to hold a tournament to determine an Amazon champion to accompany Steve back to man's world to face this threat. Diana wins the tournament and will accompany Steve back to the outside world.

Disclose Notes: Story is set in the past before Diana left Themyscira to become Wonder Woman.

There are some differences from past accounts of the tournament that determines the Amazon champion who will leave Themyscira to accompany Steve back to the outside world. In this version, Hippolyta does not forbid Diana to compete, and she fearfully expects Diana to be the winner. Also, the Amazons have never seen firearms until examining Steve's weapons, so they had never practiced "bullets and bracelets" before it is used as a tie-breaker to determine the tournament champion.
