Ivan Von Gent
When an old man cries out that he sees a monster it submerges before the townspeople can see it. Ivan Von Gent, the famous scientist, is with the townspeople and he vows to figure out how the old man can see the creature but no one else can. He figures out how to make it where he can see the creature and it works. He sees the creature and cries out but it submerges immediately. The old man that used to cry out when it came can now go home and rest because Ivan Von Gent is now "The One who watches"!

On the run from the police, Mac waits for Lois at a diner but sees her go to over to a man with a black beard before the police arrest her. Mac flees and steals a test plane, but strangely finds himself back at the same airport after his flight. Returning to the diner, Mac encounters Lois and is arrested. He realizes the bearded man he saw was himself in the future - the experimental plane brought him back in time.

Dunn wants to be remembered by people and claims in front of Berring he can predict deaths, saying Jack will die. Jack is suddenly hit and killed by a car and Henry forces Paul to tell the story in the newspaper. Henry makes another prediction, this time targeting Paul, but when he tries to make it come true by attacking Paul in an alleyway Paul overpowers him and Henry is sent to an asylum.
