He is stuck at an airfield, fog-bound, when the news reaches him that the flight on which he was booked has crashed en route to the air field, killing all aboard. Later, a mysterious stranger arrives and volunteers to fly the officer to his wife. The officer is later shocked to learn the identity of his benefactor.
