She finds Helen, who has been hypnotized by the prophet into believing that she's Camilla; she tells Camilla of a plot to rob the natives. Meanwhile, the prophet and the three white men have gone to the village; the white men are hidden as the prophet demands gold for the snake god. They secretly inflate a sea-serpent balloon to make good on the threat, Camilla shoots a flaming arrow into the balloon, and the white men die in the burning wreckage.
