Lt. Dan Foley of the Fighting Fifth Cavalry
A circus has failed to arrived at Fort Desolation, so Dan goes to find them. They were diverted by the Comanches and forced to perform. Dan joins as a juggler, whirls colored torches that "accidentally" set fire to teepees. The circus escapes, but he's captured and hung in a cage for target practice. He swings the cage, is cut loose by arrows, and bolts. Later the circus performs, and Dan shows off his juggling!

Sheriff Walt Trigger is stymied as the Black Scarf gang robs stages and banks. Brother Wayne warns he's acting without thinking, and should his "five soldiers" - his five senses - to bust the gang. He tracks the gang and sniffs out the scarf, which smells of rabbitbush. But one gang member was knocked out in the dark. Oh, Wayne's hands smell of rabbitbush too, so he was there helping!
