Robin Hood
Robin Hood
In town, an elder auctions off three splintered arrows for charity. Robin Hood used them to best the Sheriff, but Prince John demands the story because "Robin Hood is dead". Flashbacks show how Robin loosed a dam spillway onto attackers, stopped up a chimney, and crossed a "moat" of wild boars. How can it be true? Because the "elder" is Robin in disguise, as he vanishes into the trees laughing!

The Viking Prince
Viking Prince; Gunnda
A village boat ventures far for fish, but meets a fire troll looming in the mist and setting the sea afire! Jon insists they investigate, but cruel Jon demands they stay. The Vikings duel with sword and fiery war club, and Jon wins. Talking to Gunnda as she cooks, Jon eyes the big iron kettle... Venturing alone with an armored prow, Jon attacks the "fire troll" and shatters it. It was only a mist-hidden volcanic upthrust that crumbles into the sea!

The Silent Knight
Silent Knight; Celia
In the Forest Perilous, the animals discuss who better helps the Silent Knight. Is it Slasher the hawk, his "eyes". Or Tana the stallion, his "legs"? Slasher warned the Knight of arrow attacks. Tana leapt the Knight and Celia across a chasm. Now comes the SK needing both, as the three sweep brigands off a bridge. The wise Owl declares "both are invaluable!"
