Synopsis: The local Cheyenne plan an uprising once a renegade, Bear Claw, arrives with a famed "flaming arrow", a flint arrowhead symbolic of victory. Walt ambushes Bear Claw, ineptly, and Wayne must save him. But Walt is captured and tied to a stake in a war dance. Wayne disguises as an Indian and gets close. Yet no one can find the flaming arrow - until it falls out of Wayne's holster at home!

The Tarantula (an ordinary gunman, not costumed) wants to kill JT in a "fair fight" to encourage other gangs to capture towns. But Johnny jumps off the building, slashing his bonds, and fights "like a whirlwind" to stop the gang, even rescuing the Tarantula from a burning hay fire!
