A personnal message from Stan Lee (done in the form of a scroll), introducing Conan and the new weekly, includes a photo of Stan and is signed "Stan". This text scroll is about 1/3-1/2 of the area of a splash page of Conan standing on some rocks with some mountains in the background. It looks like the Conan pose has been taken and retouched/redrawn from the cover of Conan the Barbarian (Marvel, 1970 series) #2.

A text line advert appears at the bottom of this page and a number of other pages throughout the issue "Stan Lee speaks at the ICA, The Mail, London. March 3rd. 7p.m. and 9p.m. Phone for tickets."
