Mess is really upset that Tick always wears his black suit and uses a hair cream to keep his hair in place, which Tick wonders why Mess has a gash on her face. He learns from Pit Pitter that an unknown assailant knifed her, so begins confronting his enemies one by one, learning as he goes along that Mess is continually having her face gashed. Junyor discovers the true answer: Tick is doing it with his razor sharp nose every time that he kisses Mess goodnight!
