The fairies, reappearing by night, guide Aliera to her supposedly-deserted fencing school, where she finds a horde of monsters holding her unconscious cousin. Realizing that her coach Chris is the Dark Lord, she begins a fencing duel with him, and seems to have lost until Avery bursts in with Baba Yaga. Aliera hands her foil to Avery, who uses its fairy steel to skewer the Dark Lord, provoking a battle royal with the monsters.
