Story #26. Reflecting the permissiveness of the 1970's, the level of nudity has noticeably increased in this story. The sonic device Bond uses to disable Grojec via telephone is remarkably similar to the one used in the film LIVE AND LET DIE, which came out over a year later!

The climax, when the villain desperately offers Bond "Two Million!" in exchange for his life, is remarkably similar to a scene in the 1989 film LICENCE TO KILL.

Story #28. The sequence where Bond is held captive aboard a millionaire's yacht (complete with nuclear warhead) is remarkably similar to a sequence in the 1983 film NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN; while the plot to destroy a rival computer-technology company somewhat parallels the main plot of the 1985 film, A VIEW TO A KILL.
