Note: Serenade is reported by Denis Gifford ("The Complete Catalogue of British Comics") to run 25 weekly issues from 22 September 1963 to 9 February 1963, after which it was merged into Valentine (Fleetway). However, there are only 21 weeks from the start date to reported end date and the inside front cover of issue 21 announces that it is the final issue of Serenade. Valentine is confirmed to include Serenade on 16 February 1963 (the reported merged issue). Several websites report the same dates and data as Gifford, who is likely to be the original source.
