Note: The series title, loosely translated, means "Sunday Funnies." The first issue was published April 4, 1954, a reprint of Four Color (Dell, 1942 series) #494, The Little King. For the first ten years of publication, content was exclusively reprints of Dell and Gold Key comics, including many issues from the Four Color series. Reprints from other, non-USA sources started in 1964. Beginning around 1977, reprinted Marvel's John Carter of Mars and Star Wars series, DC's The Warlord and Charlton's The Phantom comics. Last issue was #1457 (August 8, 1982), "Beto el Recluta" or "Beetle the Recruit" (Beetle Bailey). The last standard-size issue of Domingos Alegres was #1083 in 1975. The numbering continued as Domingo Alegres Serie Aguila (Eagle Series) with #1084 in a smaller format size.

Note: Novaro was trying to find out what interest comic book readers were keen on and under the title Marvila, they issued , apart from wonder Woman, some other American titles such as House of Mystery which later became an independent publication named "Cuentos de Misterio", Atom, Metal Men,Tommy Tomorrow, etc. They even "made up" a comic book title which really didn't even exist in the American DC: Rose and the Thorn.They created 3 complete comic books based on the stories published in Superman's Lois Lane's issues with the new 70s heroine and it was quite successful all over Latin American countries and Spain but failed to continue as DC decided on not publishing this heroine's stories again.

Note: Editorial Novaro books were published in up to four different sizes: standard (255 x 175 mm), Serie Avestruz "Ostrich series" (250 x 160 mm), Serie Aguila "Eagle series" (195 x 135 mm) & Serie Colibrí "Hummingbird series" (140 x 110 mm). Every title can have up any combination of the sizes (only one, two or three, or all four). The non-standard sizes always have it noted on the cover; usually the price logo will state which series size the book is, and either with the price or near the title/logo there will be an Ostrich, Eagle or Hummingbird, respectively.

Cover pricing for this series ranged from 50 pesetas to 90 pesetas with many random changes from one issue to the next.
