The top 1/6th of the page is a page-one header for Popular Comics, a proposed tabloid-size monthly comics publication Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster hoped to launch around 1934, for which many of the features in this issue were created. The header also promotes "G-Men of the Future!," the Bruce Verne feature detailed in the next sequence. (Siegel's and Shuster's Popular Comics concept should not be confused with the unrelated Popular Comics title published by Dell beginning in 1936.)
