Synopsis: Annie and her horse Nugget capture an outlaw gang and bring them into the small town of Buena Vista, where she lives with her father, Ben Oakley. Ben introduces her to new sheriff Idaho Smith and his sidekick Yucca. They are immediately attracted to each other, Idaho thinking she'd be a good homemaker-type wife. Annie believes that Idaho would fall in love with a girl who excels in all the cowboy skills. Later, at the rodeo, Annie beats Idaho in every event, crushing his ego so badly that he just says goodbye to her and walks away. Annie is left crushed and clueless.

Annie, told that the town wants her as the new sheriff, rides out and accidentally spies her father and Yucca herding bulls in the valley. She now must choose whether to turn her father in and clear Idaho, or say nothing and watch Idaho take the blame.

Synopsis: The sheriff of Eldoro is laid up for a spell with a gunshot wound. When no-account strangers start filing into town causing fistfights and shootings, the sheriff brings reputed fast draw artist Joe Gray in from a neighboring town and deputizes him. When Joe takes out his Winchester, and faces down a huge thug, the other strangers quickly follow suit and head out of town. Turns out the sheriff's and Grey's bluff worked out fine, as Grey was not a gunslinger at all, but an artist who paints fast.
