Synopsis: Wolverine returns to the mansion to discover that Mystique snuck in, tore up his room, and stole his samurai sword. The X-Men determine that Sabretooth's faction of the Hand allowed her to make it into the mansion undetected. Wolverine promises Beast he will let it go but immediately takes off in the Blackbird to get his sword back. Kitty follows and gives him grief for breaking his word. The Blackbird is shot down by Batroc who is after a ten million dollar bounty the Hand has put on Wolverine's head. Even without his healing factor, Wolverine beats Batroc.
