During World War Two, they published comics for Quality (due to newsprint restrictions).
After the war, they published a few newsstand comics, but then moved strictly into giveaways for gasoline stations, etc. Some of these giveaways reprinted material from Marvel comics.
Julien J. Proskauer (1893-1958) was president of Vital. Comics were printed by Wm. C. Popper & Co. which Proskauer was also President of.
