From about 1960 to about 1978, the branding of Fawcett World Library would appear on the back cover of the books.

The Fawcett line purchased by the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS Publications) about 1976 and ceased publication about 1982. The assets of Gold Medal and Crest Books were purchased by Random House and placed under their Ballantine Books publishing outfit circa at the end of 1982.

Gold Medal continued to publish under Ballantine until sometimes during the 2010s when the Gold Medal paperback line was eliminated.   Does this data need corrections? Become an editor.
