Synopsis: A formless alien takes over a Khundian warship, and after giving itself a temporary body, heads to Earth to acquire a permanent one, thereafter to begin its takeover of the universe. On Earth, Matrix / Supergirl, now being mentored by Elizabeth Perske, Lex Luthor's ex-wife, is dealing with laser beams gone wild when the warship hovers overhead. The being, calling itself Lord Dichon, manages to capture Supergirl and turn her back to her original protoplasmic form, in preparation for using her as its new permanent body.

He is unaware that the ghosts were conjured up by the sorcerer Torquemada in another plane of existence, so that Alan would be forced to regain powers and help to fight off the coming of the Evil One.
