From out of the night sky, they plunged to Earth!
A meteor from Venus crashes onto an aircraft carrier spilling out seeds. When one of the seeds gets wet, it hatches out an octopus-like creature that grows bigger when it's exposed to water. Eventually the creature grows so big it attacks New York City.

A fleet of Flying Saucers seemed to be approaching for an invasion of the Great City.
The military battles an invasion of flying saucers. After examining the wreckage of one of the downed craft, it's discovered that they were props used in a publicity campaign to promote MUMBO-JUMBOS biscuits.

Captain Scott moved forward through the huge rocket ship...
Captain Scott is leading his fourth "colony evaluation" into space as the problem of the exploding population of the Earth (due to genetically engineered increased life spans) is getting quite bad. They are brought down to the surface of a planet by some unknown force, and after some exploring, they return to find no ship and vanished guards. A search results in more crew members disappearing until the last two men are captured by alien beings and find they are soon to be vivisected like guinea pigs!
