Toth stated in Graphic Story Magazine #10 (published by Bill Spicer) that this story "was inked by Kurtzman because of my rushed schedule at the time." Inks have erroneously been credited to Toth in some reprints.

Much of the story is told in flashback.

Outside of the garrison of Orlando, Duke Cosimo, astride his gallant white charger, orders his generalissimo to attack the seemingly impregnable enemy position and be inside it within the hour. Time and time again the attacks failed. But during the last attack, the Duke fell from his horse, having choked to death on an olive pit. His men, called women by the Duke, calmly placed the Duke's body on a catapult and launched it at the enemy fortification, his body landing within the fort......all within an hour.

Edouard Rene de Gascony (French commander, death); King Henry (British commander)
The year was 1415 A.D.!
The French have massed their forces between the English and the sea at Agincourt, confident that they would wipe out the British forces camped nearby. So confident was De Gascony of France that he refused to wait for the Army reinforcements of the Duke of Brittany and De Loingy in spite of being told the British had many tricks up their sleeves. Likewise the British commander felt the time to attack was now. The battle began and De Gascony was felled by an arrow, then finished off by a lance in his head.
