First Line: Freezing waters chill blood that is already cold.
Synopsis: Amphibius rescues Magneto from drowning. Moira & Prof. X run scans on Marvel Girl to determine what happened to her during the Z'Nox conflict. Beast & Prof. X head to Illinois to investigate a new mutant, while Cyclops, Marvel Girl & Candy attempt to find Angel. Iceman's amnesia persists, & the man who rescued him is revealed to be Karl Lykos (aka Sauron). Havok, Lorna & Ka-Zar head to find Iceman. Cyclops, Marvel Girl & Candy track Angel to a rusty freighter, where they encounter strange mutants & make a shocking discovery. Beast & Prof. X meet Ashley Martin & are assaulted by a Sentinel.
